Any music fan in Leeds will have Live at Leeds on their calendar. We know, because it’s on ours too.
This year, we’re thrilled to be announcing a partnership between SOYO and Live at Leeds. As part of this, we’ll be working with the team to support the city and help make this year’s Live at Leeds one to remember. Emerging young talent are given a platform to perform, interjected with global headline acts like The Vaccines and Circa Waves. In total, there’s over 200 performing artists this year, with 10,000 tickets sold to music fans who will be filling Leeds’ best loved venues.
Since 2017, Live at Leeds has become part of the wider Leeds International Festival – a programme of events, celebration music, fashion, tech and moving image. Live at Leeds will take place in the midst of all this action, taking place across 19 different venues in the city, meaning you’re never too far away from the nearest gig. There’s the usuals, the o2 Academy, The Wardrobe and Hyde Park Book Club, as well as popup stages on Briggate and even a few churches. Wristband exchange will take place at Leeds College of Music from 10am. Access will be from SOYO – the area behind the Playhouse that’s currently Quarry Hill car park. It might not look much right now, but this space is soon to be one of the best places to live, work and play in the city.
